In partnership with Design Everything and Kindred, eighteen London-based designers were invited to reimagine a functional object for Kindred’s record shop in Clerkenwell. I decided to design the record weight, as it was an entirely new object for me. I wanted to challenge myself by working with something I wouldn’t have traditionally chosen. It was a challenge in the beginning, with endless possibilities but I simplified my ideas and focused on its function.
